April 15, 2025 — In celebration of Buy a Horse Book Day, a group of authors have united to launch the Ultimate Horse Library Giveaway—a one-of-a-kind opportunity for horse lovers, families, educators, and interested readers to experience the joy of horse-themed stories that inspire, educate, and entertain.
This collaborative effort features over thirty traditional and independently published authors who write stories that center horses, equestrian life, personal growth, and social-emotional learning.
One lucky winner will receive a bundle of autographed horse-themed books, while everyone who enters will receive a downloadable PDF featuring all the participating authors and links to explore their books. The contest runs through May 9th at 11:59pm ET.
“Buy a Horse Book Day is about celebrating horses and the authors inspired by them,” says Abriana Johnson, creator of the Cowgirl Camryn brand and organizer of the giveaway. “We wanted to bring together stories that uplift horse lovers of all ages and facilitate them becoming confident, kind humans—with horses leading the way.”
In a unique twist, the giveaway also includes a give-back component: the winner will get to select a charity that connects underserved youth to horses to receive a second bundle of books, donated in their honor.
